About Hunter, Tomaszek & Stilwell

Randolph W. Hunter , the senior member of the firm, is a native of Charleston and established the office located at 53 Broad Street in January 2003. At the present time, he is the sole attorney practicing in the Charleston, SC Office. Mr. Hunter practices in the specific area of corporate and business transactions.

Mr. Hunter received his B.A. degree from Carson-Newman College and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Hunter was admitted to practice in South Carolina in 1970, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina in 1972, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in 1974. He served as Assistant Public Defender for Greenville County, SC from 1972-1973 where he obtained valuable experience as a litigator and presided as the Municipal Judge for the City of Mauldin, SC until June 2000. Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Hunter served as a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Mr. Hunter is a member of the Charleston County Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar Association-Corporate Law Section. He also serves on the Board of Directors of several corporations in the Greenville, South Carolina area.

Some of Mr. Hunter's community activities have included: Serving as Chairman and member of Greenville County's Crime Commission; Commodore of the Western Carolina Sailing Club; President of Northwood Little League Association; President of the Taylors, SC Football League; Member and Officer of the Greenville Jaycees; Graduate of Leadership-Greenville; Member of St. Frances Episcopal Church; Member of U.S. Power Squadron and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Robin B. Stilwell received his undergraduate degree from the Citadel in 1990 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1993. He was admitted to South Carolina Bar in 1994 and is a member of the Greenville County Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar Association. Mr. Stilwell practices exclusively in the firm's Greenville Office and currently presides as the Mauldin, SC Municipal Judge.
